On the 11th December 2006, Mark Webb joined QEB Solutions as their Senior Sales Executive.
For the last 12 years, Mark has been involved in a direct sales role predominantly in the computer consumables industry selling to both trade and commercial environments.
Mark started off working for a small insurance brokers selling car insurance to the general public and then soon moved on to work for one of the largest insurance companies in the UK. From there, he changed industry and started to work for the largest supplier of computer consumables in Europe. Over the next 5 years, Mark worked his way up to Sales Manager. When his Director left, Mark was approached to join him at a relatively unknown company and they succeeded in tripling the company's turnover within three years. Once again, Mark was at the front of this as the Sales Manager.
Eventually, as most men hope for, Mark found the right women and decided to re-locate to the West Midlands. He then started to work for a local software package provider, selling their products into trade. Over the next 18 months, Mark gained knowledge and experience in the software market and how important it is.
We appointed Mark after meeting him a couple of times and recognising what he could bring to QEB and how he could aid our continued growth.
On a personal note, Mark has just become a father for the first time after his partner, Hellen, gave birth to their son Jacob on the 15th November 2006. This has wreaked havoc on his other passions in life, football and golf.
