Personal Pensions Management Limited (PPML) is a leading SIPP administrator specialising in third party pensions.The business has recently been acquired from the Credit Suisse Group by the Capita Group and re-branded Capita SIP Services.

The Need for QEB’s website publishing solution

The PPML website was the responsibility of their Marketing department. Due to changes in regulations, Marketing had become reliant on IT to deliver an increasing number of changes on the site.

To overcome the bottleneck around IT, they had started to become html aware!PPML needed a product that would allow them to take control of publishing with no technical knowledge. If staff left who had gained html knowledge - it wouldn't matter. Additionally, they wanted to delegate some of these responsibilities to other employees in other departments.

All of this had to be done within a strict professional design framework, and in a controlled regulatory environment.

Solution: Use of QEB’s website publishing solution 

Features include:

• End- users are able to publish and maintain all content on the site with no need to call on IT resources.
• Existing investments in applications, like financial calculators, built by their existing IT function were easily integrated into the Nebula framework and instantly deployed
• Regulatory control is implicitly designed into the workflow of publishing
• QEB additionally developed a custom Glossary module that allowed a central glossary to be maintained. When editing page content, their marketing could then simply link an acronym to the glossary page.
