Suffolk Life Annuities Limited is one of the UK’s leading specialist pensions' providers. As well as administering SIPP pensions for their own clients, they also administer products on behalf of a growing number of major financial institutions such as Prudential, Clerical Medical and Norwich Union amongst others.

The Need

The client’s website was uninspiring, lacking in content and took time to update. They needed a user friendly website with comprehensive literature downloads, up to date technical and marketing literature.

Additionally, they needed to manage the process of publishing content onto the website. Finacial servcies is a highly regulatory environment. Suffolk Life had to put controls in place to ensure all changes on the website were reviewed by all appropriate parties. If the FSA should challenge content on the site they had to be able to show what content was on a page on any given previous date.

The Solution

QEB implemented a new dynamic web portal with content management, that was secure, easy to use and included the following key features:

Illustrations & the GAD Calculator involved secure data exchanges between the website and the Suffolk Life back office systems using XML.
